The Cherry MX-BLUE™ Silver switch offers a refined linear feel, evolving from the popular red MX. With a reduced actuation distance of 1.2mm (down from 2mm) and a total travel of just 3.4mm, it delivers a silent, quick response without any audible click.
Linear vs. Tactile Feel: A linear feel provides a smooth, consistent press from start to finish, while a tactile feel gives feedback upon actuation. The operating force, measured in grams (e.g., 45g), indicates how much pressure is needed to actuate the switch and how much resistance it provides.
